I’m Dan Piraro, the creator of the Bizarro newspaper comic. Each week, I post my Sunday Bizarro comic (above) then a short essay, then the past week’s Monday-Saturday Bizarro comics, written and drawn by my partner, Wayno. He does a weekly blog post, too, and I highly recommend it.

Hi, Jazz Pickles, thanks for dropping in. Olive and I lost one of our pets over the weekend in an accident and so I’m not up to writing my usual piece here this week. I may tell the story in next week’s post, we’ll see.

The Secret Symbols in this week’s Sunday cartoon, above, are not too difficult to find but here’s the ANSWER KEY just in case. Let’s go straight to Wayno’s week of Bizarro cartoons…

I had a bunch of those stick-horses when I was a kid and a full cowboy outfit with hat, chaps, vest, fringe, holster, and pistol to go with it. I’d have worn it to church if my mom would have let me.

I wish this one weren’t so true.

Most people are surprised to learn that this guy’s name is Suzanna.

I assume he has named his spatula.

Wayno tells of his inspiration for this cartoon in his weekly blog post. He also posted the photo of Hollywood execs that he used as reference for this one.
